Welcome to Sur O Bani, a vibrant haven for music and Bengali language, founded by the passionate and dedicated Mrs. Dyuti Gupta.

Mrs. Gupta's own musical journey began in her early years, blossoming into a deep-rooted passion nurtured under the guidance of Mrs. Swastika Mukherjee. This pursuit led her to the prestigious Visva Bharati, Sangeet Bhavan, where she earned her Masters in Music, laying a strong foundation for her artistic endeavors.

Since making London her home, Dyuti has graced numerous stages with captivating solo performances and inspiring collaborations with her students. Her commitment to education extends beyond music, as she also serves as a GCSE Bengali Language examiner.

At Sur O Bani, we foster a dynamic community where students of all ages come together to explore the rich tapestry of music and the beauty of the Bengali language. In 2024, we proudly affiliated with West Sussex Music, enabling us to offer our students structured music grades in both Bengali and Indian Classical Music, providing a clear pathway for their artistic growth.
